We propose a new representation of the nonlinear sigma model that exhibits a manifest duality between flavor and kinematics. The fields couple exclusively through cubic Feynman vertices which also serve as the structure constants of an underlying kinematic algebra. The action is invariant under a combination of internal and spacetime symmetries whose conservation equations imply flavor-kinematics duality, ensuring that all Feynman diagrams satisfy kinematic Jacobi identities. Substituting…

Twofold symmetries of the pure gravity action

A bstractWe recast the action of pure gravity into a form that is invariant under a twofold Lorentz symmetry. To derive this representation, we construct a general parameterization of all theories

On the kinematic algebra for BCJ numerators beyond the MHV sector

Abstract The duality between color and kinematics present in scattering amplitudes of Yang-Mills theory strongly suggests the existence of a hidden kinematic Lie algebra that controls the gauge

Gravitational radiation from color-kinematics duality

A bstractWe perturbatively calculate classical radiation in Yang-Mills theory and dilaton gravity, to next-to-leading order in couplings. The radiation is sourced by the scattering of two

A double copy for asymptotic symmetries in the self-dual sector

We give a double copy construction for the symmetries of the self-dual sectors of Yang-Mills (YM) and gravity, in the light-cone formulation. We find an infinite set of double copy constructible

Unifying relations for scattering amplitudes

A bstractWe derive new amplitudes relations revealing a hidden unity among a wideranging variety of theories in arbitrary spacetime dimensions. Our results rely on a set of Lorentz invariant

A bstractExceptional theories are a group of one-parameter scalar field theories with (enhanced) vanishing soft limits in the S-matrix elements. They include the nonlinear sigma model (NLSM),

On the Lagrangian formulation of the double copy to cubic order

We investigate the Lagrangian formulation of the double-copy correspondence between gauge theories and gravity, up to the cubic order. Building on the definition of the double-copy field as a

BRST-Lagrangian Double Copy of Yang-Mills Theory.

We show that the double copy of gauge theory amplitudes to $\mathcal{N}=0$ supergravity amplitudes extends from tree level to loop level. We first explain that color-kinematic duality is a condition

A bstractIn this work we show how a double-cover (DC) extension of the Cachazo, He and Yuan formalism (CHY) can be used to provide a new realization for the factorization of the amplitudes involving

Scattering equations and a new factorization for amplitudes. Part II. Effective field theories

A bstractWe continue the program of extending the scattering equation framework by Cachazo, He and Yuan to a double-cover prescription. We discuss how to apply the double-cover formalism to effective
