Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs) are networks that are caused due to any delay in communication networks. Earlier, Delay Tolerant Networks were only used for long term communication; however, more recently, DTNs are also being used for short term communication such as those of mobile to mobile, laptop, Bluetooth and NFC.
