BACKGROUND Medical management for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is often unsatisfactory. Antifungal therapy may be unable to eradicate IPA in the immunocompromised or neutropenic patient. METHODS We retrospectively reviewed the surgical management of IPA in 13 immunocompromised patients at our institution.
