Anomalous pancreaticobiliary ductal junction (APBDJ) induces various pancreatobiliary diseases. Because of the high incidence of biliary tract carcinoma, excision of the gallbladder and choledochal cyst is now recognized to be the treatment of choice for patients with choledochal cyst.
