Surgery for congenital heart defects: a different world.

  • M McConnaha
  • Published 1997 in Seminars in perioperative nursing

Not only are these patients smaller, but the altered hemodynamics of their structural defects require different diagnostic and treatment skills. This article briefly discusses some of the basic differences.
