In our previous study, we reported the isolation of a novel humulene derivative, 5-hydroxyzerumbone, from Zingiber zerumbet and its inhibitory activity on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW 264.7 mouse macrophage cells.
