Superoxide dismutase activity in rat brain during acute and chronic alcohol intoxication


The effect of acute and chronic ethanol administration on rat brain superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity was studied. Intraperitoneal injections of ethanol led to an inhibition of SOD activity.
