We study theoretically proximity-induced superconductivity and its inverse effect in dice lattice flat band model by considering Josephson junction with an s-wave pairing in the superconducting leads. Using self-consistent tight-binding Bogoliubov-de Gennes method, we show that there is a critical value for chemical potential of the superconductors depending on paring interaction strength over which for undoped normal region the proximity effect is enhanced. Whereas if the superconductor…

Temperature-Induced Plasmon Excitations for the α–T3 Lattice in Perpendicular Magnetic Field
The magnetoplasmon dispersion relation in these two extreme limits is explored in the α–T3 model in the presence of a mass term which opens a gap in the energy dispersive spectrum, as well as under a uniform perpendicular quantizing magnetic field.

Giant proximity effect in single-crystalline MgB2 bilayers
Both upper critical field and in-field critical current density of S′/S bilayers show a significant enhancement, representing a strong correlation between S′ and S, providing the blue print to the design of the superconducting multilayers for fundamental researches on the mechanism of the GPE as well as their technological applications.

Magnetization, d -wave superconductivity, and non-Fermi-liquid behavior in a crossover from dispersive to flat bands
We explore the effect of inhomogeneity on electronic properties of the two-dimensional Hubbard model on a square lattice using dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT). The inhomogeneity is introduced via

Beyond triplet: Unconventional superconductivity in a spin-3/2 topological semimetal
A k ⋅ p model of the j = 3/2 fermions is proposed to explain how a dominant J = 3 septet pairing state is the simplest solution that naturally produces nodes in the mixed even-odd parity gap, and has strong potential for leading the development of a new series of topological superconductors.
Competition of electron-phonon mediated superconductivity and Stoner magnetism on a flat band
The effective attractive interaction between electrons, mediated by electron-phonon coupling, is a well-established mechanism of conventional superconductivity. In the typical metallic systems
