Sulforaphane (SFN), an isothiocyanate obtained from cruciferous vegetables, exerts antioxidant, antiapoptotic, and antitumor activities in different cell types. Moreover, SFN has been viewed as an anti-inflammatory agent. Nonetheless, the mechanism underlying the ability of SFN in modulating the immune response in mammalian cells is not completely understood yet.
