NURSES' LEADERS have welcomed the launch of England's first national suicide prevention strategy, which aims to reduce the number by at least a fifth by 2010. That would mean a minimum of five fewer suicides each year by nurses, one of the occupational groups defined in the strategy as 'high risk'.
