The problem of generating a sudden death and sudden birth of entanglement in a system of two nonlinear oscillators interacting with an external reservoir is presented. The physical mechanism needed for observing these phenomena is indicated. It is found that an external driving field (coupling to one of the nonlinear oscillator modes) can be responsible for entanglement return to the system considered.
Influence of the Phase on the Entanglement between a Jaynes-Cummings Atom and an Isolated Atom
A scheme is presented to generate an entangled atomic state, for which the quantum phase a ects the atom atom entanglement when the atom interacts with external light elds. The quantum phase enhances
Entangled State Creation by a Nonlinear Coupler Pumped in Two Modes
In this paper we consider a system with two nonlinear oscillators which are coupled via a nonlinear interaction. In order to excite the system, we use two external coherent fields. Two oscillators

Sudden birth versus sudden death of entanglement in multipartite systems.
Notably, it is shown that this entanglement sudden birth can manifest before, simultaneously, or even after entanglements sudden death, and of higher dimensional systems.
Dynamics of the entanglement between two oscillators in the same environment.
A complete characterization of the evolution of entanglement between two resonant oscillators coupled to a common environment is provided and analytic expressions for the boundary between phases are obtained.
Sudden death and birth of entanglement effects for Kerr-nonlinear coupler
We analyze the entanglement dynamics in a nonlinear Kerr-like coupler interacting with external environment. Whenever the reservoir is in a thermal vacuum state, the entanglement (measured by
Enhancement of Sudden Death of Entanglement for Driven Qubits
We study the recently discovered phenomena of sudden death of entanglement for a system of two qubits, each of them independently longitudinally damped by a reservoir and subjected to a continuous
Finite-dimensional states and entanglement generation for a nonlinear coupler
We discuss a system comprising two nonlinear (Kerr-like) oscillators coupled mutually by a nonlinear interaction. The system is excited by an external coherent field that is resonant to the frequency
Disentanglement in a two-qubit system subjected to dissipation environments
We investigate the time evolution of entanglement of various entangled states of a two-qubit system exposed to either thermal or squeezed reservoirs. We show that, except for the vacuum reservoir,
Delayed sudden birth of entanglement
The concept of time delayed creation of entanglement by the dissipative process of spontaneous emission is investigated. A threshold effect for the creation of entanglement is found where the
Dynamics of quantum entanglement
A model of discrete dynamics of entanglement of a bipartite quantum state is considered. It involves a global unitary dynamics of the system and periodic actions of local bistochastic or decaying
Dark periods and revivals of entanglement in a two-qubit system
In a recent paper Yu and Eberly [Phys. Rev. Lett. 93, 140404 (2004)] have shown that two initially entangled and afterward not interacting qubits can become completely disentangled in a finite time.
Entanglement of Formation of an Arbitrary State of Two Qubits
The entanglement of a pure state of a pair of quantum systems is defined as the entropy of either member of the pair. The entanglement of formation of a mixed state is defined as the minimum average
