We report the first successfully treated case of Cladophialophora bantiana cerebral abscess with the relatively new antifungal agent voriconazole. Infection with this organism is often fatal. A 64-year-old man presented to our institution with progressive neurologic symptoms due to a brain abscess. A stereotactic brain biopsy confirmed the pathogen as C. bantiana.
