This study was conducted to determine the efficiency of vitrification using the microdroplet (MD) method for early stage porcine embryos. Embryos at compacted morulae to early blastocyst stage were vitrified in a vitrification solution containing 40% (v/v) ethylene glycol, 0.6M sucrose and 2% (w/v) polyethylene glycol in M2 (ESP) without any pretreatment.
