Total ear amputation is common, and management can necessitate different procedures, especially microsurgical anastomosis. Partial ear amputations supplied by narrow pedicles, however, have been reported rarely. In a subtotally amputated auricle, the chance of survival depends on the vascularization within the pedicle.
