Eight subgenera of the genus Ceratina Latreille (Anthophoridae) are recognized from Asia and West Pacific; they are Chloroceratina, Lioceratina, Xanthoceratina, Catoceratina, Ceratinidia, Ceratina sensu stricto, Neoceratina and Euceratina. Comments are made on the remaining subgenera of the world and the American species Ceratina arironensis now found on Oahu, Hawaiian Islands. Key to the subgenera of Ceratina of Asia and West Pacific and that of the species (males) of Neoceratina of the world…

TLDR
A key, synonymy, descriptions and distributions are given for twelve species of Ceratina (Euceratina), including three new species, C.dallatorreana, shown to reproduces probably entirely by thelytoky and thus is unique among Apoidea.
Ceratina (Ceratinidia) compacta, a Small Carpenter Bee in Thailand: An Apparent Recent Addition to the Fauna (Hymenoptera: Apidae)
TLDR
The existence in Thailand is recorded of Ceratina compacta Smith, 1879 (Hymenoptera: Apidae), a species known previously only from the Philippines, and two species are distinguishable from other Ceratinidia species in Thailand by various characters.
SYNOPSIS OF THE FLAVIPES-GROUP OF THE BEE GENUS CERATINA OF EASTERN ASIA (HYMENOPTERA, ANTHOPHORIDAE)
TLDR
The new species is characterized in having the distinct preoccipital carina in both sexes, being macrocephalic in the female when 7 mm long and known from the mountainous regions only of Taiwan.
A revision of the bee genus Ceratina, subgenus Rhysoceratina (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Xylocopinae)
TLDR
A phylogenetic analysis supports the monophyly of the subgenus Rhysoceratina of Ceratina and, within it, of two major species groups.
El género Ceratina en la Argentina: revisión del subgénero Neoclavicera subg. n. (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Xylocopinae)
The genus Ceratina in Argentina: revision of the subgenus Neoclavicera subg. n. (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Xylocopinae). A new subgenus of Ceratina, Neoclavicera subg. n., is described to include its type
Bees of the Hawaiian Islands, Exclusive of Hylaeus (Nesoprosopis) (Hymenoptera: Apoidea)
TLDR
Four other species (Ceratina arizonensis Cockerell (Apidae), Xylocopa sonorina, Lasioglossum impavidum (Sandhouse) (Halictidae) and Megachile gentilis) are adventive arrivals from the western North American fauna.
A survey of the genus Ceratina Latreille (Hymenoptera: Apidae) in northern Iran, with three new records
TLDR
A survey of the genus Ceratina Latreille (Hymenoptera: Apidae) in northern Iran, with three new records is carried out.
Invasive range expansion of the small carpenter bee, Ceratina dentipes (Hymenoptera: Apidae) into Hawaii with implications for native endangered species displacement
TLDR
Bayesian phylogenetic reconstruction and analyses of molecular variation both indicate that C. dentipes is very recently introduced in Hawaii and likely originated in Borneo or mainland Southeast Asia before being widely and rapidly dispersed, most likely through anthropogenic transport.
MORPHOLOGICAL AND DNA SEQUENCE DELINEATION OF TWO PROBLEMATIC SPECIES OF CERATINA ( HYMENOPTERA : APIDAE ) FROM EASTERN CANADA
TLDR
A clearer description of this character is proposed and confirmation using scanning electron microscopy to confirm that puncture placement takes precedence over abundance is provided, providing additional support that C. calcarata and C. dupla are indeed distinct species that can be distinguished morphologically.
An Annotated List of Bees (Hymenoptera: Apoidea: Apiformis) of Sri Lanka
TLDR
This work presents a complete and updated list of bees known to occur in Sri Lanka in order to encourage and facilitate taxonomic work on Sri Lankan bees.
