Health care-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (HA-MRSA) forms biofilm in vitro that is dependent on the surface-located fibronectin binding proteins A and B (FnBPA, FnBPB). Here we provide new insights into the requirements for FnBP-dependent biofilm formation by MRSA.
