Objective To study the transmission of drug resistant HIV-1 naive infection in Anhui Province in 2008 and provide scientific evidence for HIV-1 drug resistance survey linical antiretroviral therapy.Methods Using the guidelines for HIV drug resistance threshold survey(HIVDR-TS) of WHO,58 plasma samples of HIV-1 infectors who were detected in 2008 not more than 25 years were collected,HIV-1 POL genotype and genetic mutations associated with drug resistance were detected.Results 29 of 49 plasma samples were successfully sequenced,B/C,B were major genetic subtype in genotyped POL sequence,which accounted for 44.8% and 37.9%,respectively.No PR resistant strain was found.The incidence of which was 0;2 NRTI resistant strain and 4 NNRTI resistant strain were found,the incidence of which was 3.4%,the prevalence were classified as low level(5%).Conclusions POL resistant HIV-1 strains were found in drug in naive infectors in Anhui.But the prevalence was low.Most of the AIDS patients did not need to be tested on drug resistance status before treatment.
