[Objective] To study the optimum extraction technique for total flavonoids from Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd fruit and peel. [Method] Ethanol as a solvent,using ultrasonic assisted extraction,UV-visible spectrophotometry was adopted to extract total flavonoids from fruit and peel of Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd.
