Study of vitamin amd antianemic activity of a new composition of vitamins with iron (II)

Abstract

Mass population surveys reveal the widespread prevalence of polyhypovitaminosis states, latent and explicit forms of vitamin and iron-deficient anemias in a considerable proportion of women of child-bearing age, nursing mothers, newly born and infants in the first year of their life [2, 4-6]. The reason for the high frequency of vitaminand iron-deficient states is the insufficient intake of vitamins and iron from foodstuffs, which requires correction by their supplementary regular intake in amounts compensating for the insufficiency in the diet.
