The present paper reports about the results of a study of mechanical, thermal, dynamic mechanical and electrical properties of polymeric insulators. Silicone rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) and alloys of silicon-EPDM are known polymers for use as high voltage insulators. The result of dynamical mechanical measurement shows that the storage of blends enhanced with increase EPDM in formulation.
