The in-situ surface organic modification of nanosized TiO2 with 2-hydroxybenzoic acid prepared by controlling the hydrolysis of tetrabutyl titanate was studied.The prepared samples were characterized by FT-IR,TGA and TEM.According to the spectra of FT-IR and TGA,it was inferred that the 2-hydroxybenzoic acid was bound on the surface of nanosized TiO2 particles and a short chain organic coating layer also formed.The dispersed experiments and UV-vis transmittance spectra indicate that the surface… CONTINUE READING
