Abstract Pb 1-x Ca x Zr 0.52 Ti 0.48 O 3 ceramics with x = 0.02, 0.04, 0.06 and 0.10 were prepared by the sol gel technique. Raman and FTIR studies of the sample show the presence of both tetragonal and rhombohedral phases of PZT. It also indicates the enhanced strain in the sample due to the different ionic size of Ca 2+ and Pb 2+ . Polarization versus electric field loops of the sample reveals that, the remnant polarization and coercive field increases with the increase in Ca concentration… Expand
