Ocular trauma is one of the leading causes of blindness in our environment. Serious ocular injury on the other hand gives rise to irreversible structural damage or functional loss. The application of more sophisticated diagnostic methods, new surgical techniques and new rehabilitation procedures, it is possible to achieve vision retention in many traumatized eyes.
