The ginseng root has been used for over 2000 years, in the belief that it is a panacea and promotes longevity. Ginseng glycopeptides have pharmacological effects, e.g., immunomodulatory, anti-tumor, anti-ulcer and hypoglycemic activities. Blood is one of the most important biologic fluids of the body in which under physiological and pathologic conditions, its compounds are subject to changes and fluctuations.
