In the present study we investigated the inflammatory response induced by the inoculation of Ehrlich tumor cells (EAT) into the peritoneal cavity of mice. It was found that after inoculation of 103 EAT cells, the number of peritoneal leukocytes remained unchanged till the sixth day. Subsequently, the number of cells increased as a consequence of tumor growth.
