Three new 2-arylbenzofuran derivatives named mulberrofurans K, N, and O were isolated from the extract of the Chinese crude drug "Sang-Bai-Pi" (Japanese name "Sohakuhi"), the root bark of Morus sp. (Moraceae). The structures of mulberrofurans K, N and O were shown to be 1, 2, and 3, respectively, on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. Mulberrofurans K and O are optically active and may be regarded biogenetically as Diels-Alder type adducts of chalcone derivatives and a dehydroprenyl-2… Expand
New Diels-Alder type adducts from Morus macroura and their anti-oxidant activities.
Fractionation of the ethanolic extract of the stem bark of Morus macroura resulted in the isolation of four new Diels-Alder type adducts, named guangsangons K--N (1, 2, 5, 6), together with two knownExpand
Structures of Two New Benzofuran Derivatives from the Bark of Mulberry Tree (Morus Macroura Miq.)
Abstract Two new benzofuran derivatives, macrourins A (1) and B (2), together with two known stilbene derivatives, were isolated from the barks of Morus macroura Miq. Their structures were elucidatedExpand

Abstract From the stem bark of Morus wittiorum, one new Diels–Alder type adduct wittiorumin G (1) and three new 2-arylbenzofuran derivatives wittifurans P–R (2–4) along with five known Diels–AlderExpand
A new Diels–Alder type adduct and two new flavones from the stem bark of Morus yunanensis Koidz
Fractionation of the ethanolic extract of the stem bark of Morus yunanensis resulted in the isolation of a new Diels–Alder type adduct and two new flavones, named yunanensin A (1), yunanensol A (2)Expand
Chalcone derivatives from the root bark of Morus alba L. act as inhibitors of PTP1B and α-glucosidase.
TLDR
Molecular docking studies revealed that the DAs isolated from Morus alba L. (Moraceae) have high affinity and tight binding capacity towards the active site of PTP1B and α-glucosidase. Expand
Isoprenylated Phenolic Compounds from Morus macroura as Potent Tyrosinase Inhibitors.
TLDR
The tyrosinase inhibitory activities of all compounds isolated were evaluated, and the new compounds as well as the eight known compounds were found to be potent with IC50 values ranging from 0.39 to 4.54 µM. Expand
Two new Diels–Alder-type adducts from the stem barks of Morus yunanensis
TLDR
Two new Diels–Alder adducts, yunanensins B and D (1 and 2), were isolated from the stem bark of Morus yUNanensis and showed moderate antioxidant effects on liver microsomal lipid peroxidation induced by Fe2+-Cys system. Expand
Potential cytotoxic Diels-Alder type adducts from liquid medium of Morus Alba var. shalun root cultures
Abstract A new Diels-Alder type adduct named morushalunin (1), together with three similar compounds, guangsangon E (2), chalcomoracin (3), and kuwanon J (4) were isolated from the EtOAc extract ofExpand
Chemistry and Biosynthesis of Natural Diels-Alder Type Adducts from Moraceous Plants
Publisher Summary Mulberry tree is a rich source of intermolecular Diels–Alder type adducts comprising two molecules of isoprenylphenols. This chapter describes the chemistry of the Diels–Alder typeExpand
