The two-neutrino double-β Gamow-Teller and Fermi transitions are studied within an exactly solvable model, which allows a violation of both spin-isospin SU(4) and isospin SU(2) symmetries, and is expressed with generators of the SO(8) group. It is found that this model reproduces the main features of realistic calculation within the quasiparticle random-phase approximation with isospin symmetry restoration concerning the dependence of the two-neutrino double-β decay matrix elements on isovector…

Angular Distributions of Emitted Electrons in the Two-Neutrino ββ Decay
The two-neutrino double-beta decay (2νββ-decay) process is attracting more and more attention of the physics community due to its potential to explain nuclear structure aspects of involved atomic
Two neutrino double-beta decay and effective axial-vector coupling constant
The theoretical and experimental study of the two-neutrino double-beta decay (2νββ -decay) is of crucial importance for reliable calculation of matrix elements governing the neutrinoless double-beta
Improved description of the 2νββ-decay and a possibility to determine the effective axial-vector coupling constant
An improved formalism of the two-neutrino double-beta decay ($2\nu\beta\beta$-decay) rate is presented, which takes into account the dependence of energy denominators on lepton energies via the
Neutrinoless double beta decay and neutrino mass
The observation of neutrinoless double beta decay (DBD) will have important consequences. First it will signal that lepton number is not conserved and the neutrinos are Majorana particles. Second, it
Research on convergence of the nuclear matrix elements for 2νββ decays
In this work, the characteristics of 2νββ decays for six nuclei ( Ar, Ca, Ca, Cr, Zn, and Xe) in a mass range from to are studied within the nuclear shell model (NSM) framework. Calculations are
