Spectral techniques of U.V., I.R., PMR and Mass spectra have been utilized to interpret the structures of three bioactive compounds isolated from the desert variety of Psoralea corylifolia Linn. These were identified and an 2’,6’,4’–trihydroxy-4’-methoxy-3’-(3"-dimethyl allyl chalkone (I), 6-hydroxyl-6", 6"-dimethyl pyrano-(2", 3", 4’, 3’)–isoflavone (II) and 2’,4-dihydroxy-4’-methoxy-5’(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-chalkone-(III).
