G-protein–coupled receptors (GPCRs) are key signaling molecules and are intensely studied. Whereas GPCRs recognizing small-molecules have been successfully targeted for drug discovery, proteinrecognizing GPCRs, such as the chemokine receptors, claim few drugs or even useful small molecule reagents.
