Saruma henryi Oliv. (Aristolochiaceae) is an endangered herb endemic to China. In this study, chloroplast microsatellites (cpSSRs) and sequences of the atpB-rbcL intergenic spacers were employed to reveal its genetic diversity and phylogeographic patterns.
