In this paper, we introduce the iterative sequence for an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping and an asymptotically nonexpansive semigroup. Then we prove that such a sequence converges strongly to PF (T )x0 and PFx0, respectively. This main theorem concern result of Takahashi, Takeuchi and Kubota [ Strong convergence theorems by hybrid methods for families of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert space, J. Math. Anal. Appl.
