Several papers have been published from this laboratory giving the results of investigations designed to demonstrate tumor production in mice with cell-free extracts of materials from eggs containing implants of mouse mammary carcinoma. Successful experiments with both Berkefeld filtered and lyophilized yolk from eggs containing yolk sac implanted mouse mammary tumor have been reported (6, 10, 11).
