This research aims to enhance the knowledge on stress-strain states of a copper pipe coil facility used for hydraulic transient experiments. The ultimate goal is the development of the pipe movement equations which will allow the implementation of Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) in the hydraulic transient model.
