Abstract The strength of the Ag-Cu eutectic was measured by tension testing for two different types of structure over a range of sizes, temperatures and strain rates. One was a lamellar structure which was produced by high speed directional solidification and the other an equiaxed structure resulting from deformation and recrystallization.
