  • Background To evaluate the effects of hyperprolactinemia on aldosterone secretion and its mechanisms of action in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. Methods Hyperprolactinemia was induced by the transplantation of rat anterior pituitary (AP) glands under the kidney capsule for 6 weeks in female rats.
