We consider a model of a stepping molecular motor consisting of two connected heads. Directional motion of the stepper takes place along a one-dimensional track. Each head is subject to a periodic potential without spatial reflection symmetry. When the potential for one head is switched on, it is switched off for the other head. Additionally, the system is subject to the influence of symmetric, white Lévy noise that mimics the action of external random forcing. The stepper exhibits motion with…

Dynamical stability of the one-dimensional rigid Brownian rotator: the role of the rotator's spatial size and shape.
TLDR
Dynamical stability of a single propeller-like shaped molecular cogwheel modelled as the fixed-axis rigid rotator is investigated, detecting a strong size-dependence of the transition to the classical dynamics beyond the quantum decoherence process.
Transports in a rough ratchet induced by Lévy noises.
TLDR
The results show that the influences of roughness on the mean first passage time are sensitive to the combination of q and α, which can speed up the passage process, otherwise it will slow down it.

Nonequilibrium systems commonly exhibit Lévy noise. This means that the distribution for the size of the Brownian fluctuations has a "fat" power-law tail. Large Brownian kicks are then more common as
Thermodynamics of Superdiffusion Generated by Lévy–Wiener Fluctuating Forces
TLDR
The dynamics of an archetypal model: a Brownian-like particle is driven by external forces, and noise is represented by uncorrelated Lévy fluctuations, and it is shown that the analyzed Markov process with the stability index α<2 violates the detailed balance.
Langevin Dynamics Driven by a Telegraphic Active Noise
Self-propelled or active particles are referred to as the entities which exhibit anomalous transport violating the fluctuation-dissipation theorem by means of taking up an athermal energy source from
Brownian thermal control device
Abstract Here, we design a Brownian thermal control device with microscale, which consists of two compartments modeled by two spatially periodic potentials, respectively. Through calculating its
Lévy noise induced transitions and enhanced stability in a birhythmic van der Pol system
This work describes the effects of Lévy noise on a birhythmic van der Pol like oscillator. The two periodic attractors are characterized by different periods, and the stability in the presence of
