The paper presents the status of the Galileo frequency and signal structure, status Sept. 2002. The Galileo carrier frequency, modulation scheme and data rate of all 10 navigation signals are described as well as parameters of the search and rescue service. The navigation signals will support services addressed to three different types of users.
