ediatric pathologists as well as other experts met at Soria Moria in Oslo to discuss diagnostic criteria for sudden unexpected infant death. The aim of the conference was to reach consensus with regard to exclusion criteria for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Another aim was to build a bridge between the Middle European way of stratifying sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI) and the Anglo American/Nordic way of using the diagnosis SIDS.
