OBJECTIVE The authors determined the effectiveness of hepatic arterial interruption in treating patients with spontaneous hepatic hemorrhage associated with pregnancy. BACKGROUND DATA This rare syndrome frequently is seen with eclampsia/preeclampsia and is associated with high maternal mortality.
