Abstract

Technetium-99m-labeled heat-damaged erythrocytes were evaluated as a spleen imaging agent in 14 patients. Spleen-to-liver deposition ratios were increased to such an extent that the liver was rarely visualized, and interference from the hepatic left lobe of the liver was eliminated.
