We present IRAC 3.6, 4.5, 5.8, and 8 μm photometry for the 17 A-, K-, and M-type members of the η Chameleontis association. These data show infrared excesses toward six of the 15 K and M stars, indicating the presence of circumstellar disks around 40% of the stars with masses of 0.1-1 M☉. The two A stars show no infrared excesses. The excess emission around one of the stars is comparable to the median excess for classical T Tauri stars in the Taurus association; the remaining five show… Expand
Spitzer-MIPS Observations of the η Chamaeleontis Young Association
• Physics
• 2008
We have mapped the η Chamaeleontis young stellar association in the far-infrared with the Multiband Imaging Photometer for Spitzer (MIPS) on the Spitzer Space Telescope. All 16 members within the mapExpand
A Spitzer view of protoplanetary disks in the γ velorum cluster
We present new Spitzer Space Telescope observations of stars in the young (~5 Myr)γ Velorum stellar cluster. Combining optical and 2MASS photometry, we have selected 579 stars as candidate members ofExpand
The Disk Population of the Taurus Star-Forming Region
• Physics
• 2010
We have analyzed nearly all images of the Taurus star-forming region at 3.6, 4.5, 5.8, 8.0, and 24??m that were obtained during the cryogenic mission of the Spitzer Space Telescope (46 deg2) and haveExpand
Evidence for Mass-dependent Circumstellar Disk Evolution in the 5 Myr Old Upper Scorpius OB Association
• Physics
• 2006
We present 4.5, 8, and 16 µm photometry from the Spitzer Space Telescope for 204 stars in the Upper Scorpius OB association. The data are used to investigate the frequency and properties ofExpand
The Frequency of Mid-Infrared Excess Sources in Galactic Surveys
We have identified 230 Tycho-2 Spectral Catalog stars that exhibit 8 μm mid-IR extraphotospheric excesses in the MSX and Spitzer GLIMPSE surveys. Of these, 183 are either OB stars earlier than B8 inExpand
The SPITZER c2d Survey of Weak-Line T Tauri Stars. I. Initial Results
Using the Spitzer Space Telescope, we have observed 90 weak-line and classical T Tauri stars in the vicinity of the Ophiuchus, Lupus, Chamaeleon, and Taurus star-forming regions as part of the CoresExpand
A Spitzer Space Telescope Study of Disks in the Young σ Orionis Cluster
We report new Spitzer Space Telescope observations, using the IRAC and MIPS instruments, of the young (~3 Myr) σ Orionis cluster. We identify 336 stars as members of the cluster, using optical andExpand
A SPITZER VIEW OF THE YOUNG OPEN CLUSTER NGC 2264
We have performed mid-IR photometry of the young open cluster NGC 2264 using the images obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Array Camera and Multiband Imaging Photometer for SpitzerExpand
Debris Disks in NGC 2547
We have surveyed the 30 Myr old cluster NGC 2547 for planetary debris disks using Spitzer. At 4.5-8 μm we are sensitive to the photospheric level down to mid-M stars (0.2 M☉), and at 24 μm to early GExpand
THE DISK POPULATION OF THE CHAMAELEON I STAR-FORMING REGION
We present a census of circumstellar disks in the Chamaeleon I star-forming region. Using the Infrared Array Camera and the Multiband Imaging Photometer on board the Spitzer Space Telescope, we haveExpand

Mid-infrared Spectroscopy of Disks around Classical T Tauri Stars
We present the first Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Spectrograph observations of the disks around classical T Tauri stars: spectra in the 5.2-30 μm range of six stars. The spectra are dominated byExpand
The state of protoplanetary material 10 million years after stellar formation: Circumstellar disks in the TW hydrae association
We have used the Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Spectrograph to observe seven members of the TW Hya association, the nearest stellar association whose age (~10 Myr) is similar to the timescalesExpand
Infrared L-Band Observations of the Trapezium Cluster: A Census of Circumstellar Disks and Candidate Protostars
We report the results of a sensitive near-infrared JHKL imaging survey of the Trapezium cluster in Orion. We use the JHKL colors to obtain a census of infrared excess stars in the cluster. Of (391)Expand
