Spinal neuroschistosomiasis.

Abstract

We report a 20-year-old woman with a diagnosis of spinal neuroschistosomiasis that was confirmed histologically. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated an expanded, oedematous conus with intrinsic heterogeneous enhancement, which was initially thought to be a neoplastic lesion.
