In this work, we study the conductance and the thermoelectric properties of a quantum dot embedded between two metallic leads with a side-coupled triple quantum dot molecule under a magnetic field. We focus on the spin polarization and thermoelectric quantities. Our results show the possibility of design an efficient spin filter device besides a noticeable enhancement of the Seebeck coefficient driven by the asymmetry in the quantum dots energy levels and a tunable pure spin Seebeck effect is…
Spin Seebeck Effect in a Multiple Quantum Dot Molecule with Spin-Dependent Interdot Coupling
We study the spin Seebeck effect in a circularly connected triple quantum dot (TQD) structure taking the spin-dependent interdot coupling and magnetic flux into consideration. Particular attention is
Thermoelectric properties of a quantum dot coupled to magnetic leads by Rashba spin-orbit interaction
We consider a single-level quantum dot coupled to two leads which are ferromagnetic in general. Apart from tunneling processes conserving electron spin, we also include processes associated with spin
Spin-Polarized Transport and Spin Seebeck Effect in Triple Quantum Dots with Spin-Dependent Interdot Couplings
We study the spin-dependent electronic and thermoelectric transport through a structure composed of triple quantum dots (TQDs) coupled to two metallic leads in the presence of spin-dependent interdot
Ja n 20 18 Thermoelectric properties of a quantum dot coupled to magnetic leads by Rashba spin-orbit interaction
We consider a single-level quantum dot coupled to two leads which are ferromagnetic in general. Apart from tunneling processes conserving electron spin, we also include processes associated with
Spin-resolved transport through a quantum dot driven by bias and temperature gradient
Abstract In this paper we use a simple model to discuss spin-related currents generated by a voltage or temperature gradient in a system of a quantum dot (QD) connected with normal metal leads. The
Detecting Spin Heat Accumulation by Sign Reversion of Thermopower in a Quantum Dot Side-Coupled to Majorana Bound States
We propose a scheme to detect the spin heat accumulation (SHA), an effective spin-dependent electron temperature, via sign reversion of thermopower induced by the Majorana bound states (MBSs) coupled

We study theoretically the properties of local heat originated from energy exchange between electrons passing through a quantum dot (QD) coupled to a phonon bath. The dot is sandwiched between two
Tunneling-induced ultraslow solitons in triangular quantum dot molecules
Abstract We theoretically investigate the propagation of a weak probe laser pulse in a triangular quantum dot molecules scheme based on the tunneling induced transparency. We find that the ultraslow
Large enhancement of thermoelectric effect by Majorana bound states coupled to a quantum dot
This paper presents a theoretical study of the thermoelectric effect in a quantum dot (QD) side-coupled to Majorana bound states (MBSs) formed at the two ends of a Rashba nanowire. In the low-tempe...
