The gravitational effects in the relativistic quantum mechanics are investigated. The exact Foldy-Wouthuysen transformation is constructed for the Dirac particle coupled to the static spacetime metric. As a direct application, we analyze the nonrelativistic limit of the theory. The new term describing the specific spin (gravitational moment) interaction effect is recovered in the Hamiltonian. The comparison of the true gravitational coupling with the purely inertial case demonstrates that the…
Quantum spin dynamics in external classical fields
We study the quantum and classical dynamics of spinning particles in the framework of the general-relativistic covariant Dirac theory. The exact Foldy-Wouthuysen transformation for the most general
Spin dynamics in gravitational fields of rotating bodies and the equivalence principle
We discuss the quantum and classical dynamics of a particle with spin in the gravitational field of a rotating source. A relativistic equation describing the motion of classical spin in curved
Dirac fermions in strong gravitational fields
We discuss the dynamics of the Dirac fermions in the general strong gravitational and electromagnetic fields. We derive the general Hermitian Dirac Hamiltonian and transform it to the
Dirac particles in a gravitational field
The semiclassical approximation for the Hamiltonian of Dirac particles interacting with an arbitrary gravitational field is investigated. The time dependence of the metric leads to new contributions
Spin in an arbitrary gravitational field
We study the quantum mechanics of a Dirac fermion on a curved spacetime manifold. The metric of the spacetime is completely arbitrary, allowing for the discussion of all possible inertial and
Spacetime rotation-induced Landau quantization
We investigate non-inertial and gravitational effects on quantum states in electromagnetic fields and present the analytic solution for energy eigenstates for the Schr\"odinger equation including
Helicity precession of spin-1/2 particles in weak inertial and gravitational fields
We calculate the helicity and chirality effects experienced by a spin-1/2 particle subjected to classical electromagnetic and gravitational fields. The helicity evolution is then determined in the
Spin–gravity coupling and gravity-induced quantum phases
External gravitational fields induce phase factors in the wave functions of particles. The phases are exact to first order in the background gravitational field, are manifestly covariant and gauge

Two Lectures on Fermions and Gravity
In these two lectures we want to provide information on the behavior of elementary particles in special relativity (SR), such as electrons, protons, or neutrons, in order to get ideas of the
