A spectrum sharing scheme is proposed for overlaid wireless networks based on the two-path successive relaying technique. In this scheme, two secondary transmitters are used to alternately transmit secondary information to their respective receivers whilst relaying the primary signal at the same time. By using superposition coding at the secondary transmitters and successive decoding at the receivers, a diversity gain of 2 is obtained for the primary system without losing the bandwidth… CONTINUE READING
