We regret inadvertently overlooking and failing to cite a study of cyanogenesis in the body parts of Heliconius species completed much earlier than our published paper. That earlier study, entitled “Chemical Ecology of Passion Vine Butterflies: Sequestration of Cyanogens and Patterns of Host-plant Specialization by Heliconius Butterflies” by Dr. Helene S.
