Increment-threshold spectral-sensitivity (ITSS) functions and threshold-versus-intensity (tvi) curves were measured under white-light adaptation in rhesus monkeys. The tvi curves showed shape and test wavelength invariance, implying that three cone mechanisms were mediating detection.
