A Cr(3+), F(-)-co-doped PbWO(4) crystal was grown by the Czochralski method and its spectroscopic properties were investigated. In addition to the intrinsic luminescence of PbWO(4), the sample showed [Formula: see text] radiation of Cr(3+) excited by x-radiation or UV-vis light.
