The specificity of solid-phase radioimmunoassay method for Australian antigen (Au-ag) and anti-Australian antigen (Au-ab) was confirmed. Au-ab was coated quantitatively on the surface of /sup 125/I labeled Au-ag. The /sup 125/I- labeled Au-ag showed positive reaction by using a tube coated with Au-ab, but negative by using tube coated with normal sera or any other kinds of antibody.
