Abstract Passive hemagglutination and radioimmunoassay were used to characterize the immunodominant determinants of two highly-purified mucins (ovine and porcine submaxillary mucins) during the humoral immune responses in the rat; the time-course and T lymphocyte-dependence of the responses; and the effect of different Ag-B loci.
